INTRA UTERINE INSEMINATION (IUI) IUI involves processing male partner's semen in laboratory to increase the vitality of the sperm and to remove harmful substances like pus cells,RBCs, bacteria,excess prostatic fluid allowing only highly motile, strong, nondefective sperms for insemination. These washed and prepared sperms are then introduced into woman's womb (uterus) by means of very specialised fine tube (catheter).The procedure is very simple and painless and allows the patient to go home in 20 minutes.
